South Coast Plaza Welcomes Exclusive Boutiques from Maison Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander, Balmain, and Giorgio Armani

In 2024, the exceptional success of South Coast Plaza continues with an influx of over 30 new boutiques from world-renowned brands. The initial wave of openings includes prestigious names such as BVLGARI, Cartier, Casper, Chloé, Gucci, Lanvin, and Palm Angels. The luxury center is set to welcome additional boutiques from Alaia, Amiri, Armani/Caffè, Baccarat, Courrèges, Dior Men, Eileen Fisher, Jacques Marie Mage, Mejuri, Santa Maria Novella, Wolford, and Zegna throughout the year, with more announcements on the horizon.

Building on the momentum of 2023, which saw over 30 new openings including the debut of Maison Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander, Balmain, and Giorgio Armani, South Coast Plaza continues to evolve. In a groundbreaking move, international fashion group OTB introduced three of its brands, Maison Margiela, Marni, and Jil Sander, simultaneously in adjacent boutiques.

Balmain, having launched its flagship boutique in late 2023, expresses excitement about joining the esteemed roster of luxury brands at South Coast Plaza. Emily George, Balmain President, The Americas, emphasizes the brand’s commitment to offering top-tier products and service to its Southern California clientele.

The redesigned Giorgio Armani boutique, personally crafted by Giorgio Armani and his team of architects, is a highlight of the transformations. The boutique will also introduce Armani/Caffè, reimagining the beloved coffee bar with a new design, menu, and furnishings.

Noteworthy developments include the expansion and redesign of Jewel Court boutiques by Cartier and BVLGARI in Spring 2024, while Harry Winston plans to enhance its boutique later in the year. Gucci is set to unveil a striking two-level flagship location, adjacent to the largest Balenciaga boutique in the Americas.

Palm Angels, the sophisticated street brand, will add its allure to the Din Tai Fung wing in early 2024, joining the ranks of recently opened boutiques like Byredo, RIMOWA, Missoni, Alexander Wang, and Gentle Monster.
