Shiekh Shoes, a leading player in the footwear and apparel industry, has forged a strategic partnership with Sunbit, a fintech leader, to unveil the Shiekh Credit Card. This co-branded retail credit card, powered by the Sunbit Credit Card platform, aims to elevate the shopping experience and cultivate brand loyalty. The Shiekh Credit Card boasts key features such as exclusive rewards, including a $10 statement credit on the first Shiekh Shoes purchase, an extension of the existing rewards program, and no late, penalty, or annual fees for cardholders. Additionally, the card offers instant accessibility, allowing users to utilize it immediately upon approval through mobile wallets and the Sunbit app anywhere Visa® is accepted.

Shiekh Shoes selected Sunbit’s credit card platform for its innovative approval technology, enabling a wider range of customers, particularly those with limited credit history, to gain approval. The rapid implementation process, launching the credit card program within months without requiring technology integration from Shiekh Shoes, further solidified the partnership. Sunbit’s comprehensive support covers marketing, employee training programs, call center operations, and incentives.

The Shiekh Credit Card is set to be available in-store and on shiekh.com by March 2024. Early data suggests a notable increase in average order values at Shiekh Shoes stores and positive cardholder balances. Shiekh Ellahi expressed satisfaction with the rollout, citing a 4X lift in average order value and anticipating continued indicators of customer loyalty.
