Sensual Architectural Elegance Givenchy’s Autumn-Winter 2024 Collection

For the Fall-Winter 2024 season, Givenchy Studio Prêt-à-Porter Femme engages in a captivating dialogue with the archives of its founder, Hubert de Givenchy. Drawing inspiration from muses both past and present-day Parisiennes, the collection skillfully weaves seduction into a tapestry of subtlety.

Unveiled in the sophisticated surroundings of 3, Avenue George V in Paris, the collection seamlessly blends eveningwear elements into daywear silhouettes. A cinematic palette, featuring the timeless combination of black and navy, is electrified by the beloved sapphire hue cherished by Hubert de Givenchy. The collection is marked by meticulously crafted décolletés, with cut-glass collars and hirondelle décolletage adorning bustier dresses. Petal-shaped bows grace necklines, echoing throughout the collection in opera gloves and shoes, drawing attention to the ankles. Silhouettes are artfully sculpted with dramatic draping and elevated shoulder blazers, while faux furs and ethereal embroidered feathers impart a sense of softness.

In a nod to the Men’s Fall-Winter 2024 collection, archival motifs make a resurgence, featuring a chandelier graphic transforming a luxurious laminated lace dress embellished with embroidered pearls, and enigmatic cats with piercing eyes. Crystal and enamel take center stage in the creation of large-scale necklaces and bracelets, inspired by archival pieces. Feline pendants adorn metal and strass jewelry, while the iconic Voyou it-bag introduces the P’tit Voyou, an elongated shoulder bag crafted from supple lambskin and patent leather. Paying homage to the archive, the Pumpkin bag undergoes a transformation into an evening pouch, draped in velvet and adorned with chains and ring details.
