Mbappé Sparks Nike’s ‘Victory Mode’ Tour for Youth Sports Inspiration

Nike has teamed up with soccer sensation Kylian Mbappé and his Inspired By Kylian Mbappé foundation to orchestrate a thrilling day of sports for thousands of young talents in Paris, initiating a series of events aimed at fostering youth participation in sports.

Over 2,000 teenagers congregated on Sunday, May 5, in front of the renowned Nike House of Innovation on the Champs Elysées, eager to engage in various challenges including individual running, breakdancing, tennis, soccer, and basketball alongside their admired role model.

Reflecting on the event, Kylian, a proud Nike ambassador, expressed, “A year ago, I envisioned orchestrating a sporting challenge with 2,024 young individuals on the world’s most illustrious avenue with the support of my foundation. Today, I’m delighted to announce that we’ve accomplished it, thanks to Nike, with whom we share common values and aspirations: inspiring youth to strive for excellence through sports.”

This event marks the debut of Nike’s “Victory Mode” tour, designed to introduce young people throughout Île-de-France to new sports and invigorating challenges.

The journey continues on May 18 in Nanterre, commemorating the triumphant return of basketball prodigy Victor Wembanyama to France. Subsequent stops in June and July will encompass five locations in the greater Paris area, culminating in a grand finale at Centre Pompidou on Aug. 11.

Reflecting on his own journey, Kylian emphasized, “Just as great champions have inspired me, I aim to instill the same drive in the next generation. They motivated me to push beyond my limits and strive for excellence. That’s what Victory Mode embodies. Today, I take pride in passing on these values to the upcoming generation.”

The Victory Mode events, crafted in collaboration with Golden Blocks, Nike’s longstanding partner in France, are inclusive and open to all, fostering a spirit of participation and inspiration.
