LVMH Tops Universum Ranking as No. 1 Employer for 20th Consecutive Year among French Business School Students

In 2023, LVMH welcomed over 60,000 individuals into its global workforce, with more than 30,000 of them being young professionals under the age of 30. This recruitment drive reflects LVMH’s enduring commitment to nurturing new talent and executing a robust strategy, which revolves around three core pillars: fostering connections with academia, disseminating knowledge online, and implementing internal programs tailored for early-career professionals.

Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Group Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Synergies, expressed pride in the company’s sustained appeal as an employer of choice. She emphasized the significance of maintaining close ties with educational institutions and students, acknowledging their pivotal role as the future workforce and valuable contributors to the evolving landscape of society.

Throughout the year, LVMH engaged with students from prestigious institutions such as HEC Paris, ESSEC, Sciences Po Paris, EDHEC, CentraleSupélec, Ecole Polytechnique, and EHL Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne. Over 600 events provided opportunities for LVMH employees to share insights into the operations of its 75 Maisons and to discuss the dynamic challenges confronting the luxury industry in an ever-changing environment.

LVMH’s commitment to educational partnerships materialized in the form of the INSIDE LVMH program, an online platform launched in March 2021. This initiative offers exclusive content covering various facets of LVMH’s six business segments and provides participants with insights into the diverse roles within the Maisons. The platform also offers an immersive 30-hour course culminating in the prestigious INSIDE LVMH Certificate, which serves as a valuable asset for aspiring professionals seeking to enter the luxury sector. To date, over 260,000 individuals have enrolled in the INSIDE LVMH program globally, with 78,000 earning certification since its inception.

Moreover, LVMH and its Maisons offer approximately 40 graduate programs designed to enhance the skill sets of early-career professionals and deepen their understanding of luxury métiers within the LVMH ecosystem. In 2023 alone, 18,000 individuals within LVMH seized opportunities to transition to new roles, join different Maisons or business sectors, or pursue international assignments, showcasing the dynamic career pathways available within the Group.

In essence, LVMH embodies an expansive ecosystem where talent flourishes, offering continual learning opportunities, expanding networks, and enabling individuals to carve out their unique career trajectories within one of the Group’s six business segments.
