Lululemon, in collaboration with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC), has unveiled its inaugural summer Athlete Kit for Team Canada ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This launch marks the beginning of lululemon’s second Games as the Official Outfitter of Team Canada, following a multi-year partnership with the COC and CPC.

Calvin McDonald, CEO of lululemon, expressed excitement about deepening the partnership with Canadian Olympians and Paralympians for Paris 2024. He highlighted the innovative design process that prioritized athlete insights to ensure peak performance and comfort during the Games.

The Team Canada x lululemon Paris 2024 Athlete Kit combines functionality and style, featuring innovative construction and performance fabrics in modern silhouettes with Canadian-inspired prints.

Damian Warner, lululemon Ambassador and Decathlon Olympic Champion, praised the unique design of the kit, allowing athletes to showcase their personal style while expressing Canadian pride.

Throughout the design phase, lululemon engaged with 19 Canadian Olympic and Paralympic athletes across 14 sports to understand their specific needs. Zak Madell, lululemon Ambassador and Team Canada Wheelchair Rugby Player, commended lululemon’s commitment to accessibility and comfort, emphasizing the attention to detail in the design process.

Athletes, coaches, and support staff will wear Team Canada apparel for various occasions during the Games, including ceremonies, media appearances, and daily activities in the Athlete Village.

Key design features include adaptability, thermal comfort, fit, function, and national pride. The kit incorporates magnetic-close zippers, pull-on loops, and sensory touch guides for enhanced accessibility. Thermal comfort is ensured through adjustable styles and sweat-wicking fabrics, while four-way stretch fabrics and customizable drawcords provide optimal fit and functionality.

The partnership between lululemon and Team Canada aims to empower athletes on and off the field. David Shoemaker, CEO of the Canadian Olympic Committee, and Karen O’Neill, CEO of the Canadian Paralympic Committee, expressed pride in the inclusive and stylish kit, reflecting the values and mission of Team Canada.

Furthermore, lululemon’s Future Legacy program, in collaboration with COC and CPC, contributes to supporting Canadian athletes by donating 10% of sales from selected items to the Canadian Olympic Foundation and Paralympic Foundation of Canada.

Fans can join in supporting Team Canada with select items from the Retail Collection available online and in stores in Canada, with additional apparel and accessories launching in the U.S. and Paris ahead of Paris 2024.
