Joe Barth Assumes Role of Chief Logistics Officer at Cart.com

Cart.com, a prominent provider of integrated commerce and logistics solutions facilitating merchants to sell and fulfill orders across diverse channels, has named Joe Barth as its Chief Logistics Officer, effective immediately. Formerly the Senior Vice President of Fulfillment at Cart.com, Barth will assume responsibility for advancing operational excellence and fostering growth throughout the company’s network of omnichannel fulfillment centers. In his new role, Barth will report directly to Omair Tariq, the Founder and CEO of Cart.com.

Having joined Cart.com in January 2023, Barth initially served as the Senior Vice President of Fulfillment. Under his leadership, Cart.com’s fulfillment network expanded from 10 facilities and 4 million square feet at the end of 2022 to 14 facilities and 8.5 million square feet nationwide. Notably, the company successfully accelerated its presence among mid-market and enterprise brands, securing partnerships with notable names such as TOMS and Pacsun. Prior to his tenure at Cart.com, Barth held key positions at other leading third-party logistics (3PL) companies.
