Dior and UNESCO Unveil Latest Women@Dior & UNESCO Global Conference, Commemorating Education, Equity, Inclusion, and Gender Equality

On March 28, the prestigious event of the Women@Dior & UNESCO Global Conference took center stage at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, marking a significant celebration of crucial themes such as education, equity, inclusion, and gender equality.

The event kicked off with a poignant performance by the gospel choir Voice2gether, underscoring the profound strength of sisterhood. Esteemed leaders from the LVMH Group, Maison Dior, and UNESCO graced the occasion, alongside inspiring personalities championing women’s rights and empowerment across diverse domains.

Delphine Arnault, President and CEO of Christian Dior Couture and a member of the LVMH Board of Directors and Executive Committee, along with Chantal Gaemperle, Group Executive Vice President Human Resources and Synergies, and a member of the LVMH Executive Committee, Stefania Giannini, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education, and Olivier Sastre, Deputy Managing Director responsible for Human Resources and Sustainable Development at Christian Dior Couture, delivered thought-provoking opening remarks, sharing their visionary outlooks on women’s empowerment.

Isabelle Faggianelli, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Christian Dior Couture, and Borhene Chakroun, Director of Policies and Lifelong Learning Systems Division at UNESCO, elucidated the partnership’s ambitious goals between UNESCO and Dior. Meanwhile, Marie-Céline Dupuy d’Angeac, President of Christian Dior Couture Europe, and Anne-Valérie Narcy, Director of Dior’s Haute Couture, Women’s Ready-to-Wear, Women’s Shoes, and Baby Business Units, provided invaluable insights into women’s professional achievements and success.
