The latest edition of the You & ME tour, a traveling vocational orientation and recruitment event by LVMH, is set to take place from January 31st to March 27th, offering approximately 3,500 employment opportunities across various “Métiers d’Excellence” fields such as creativity, craftsmanship, and client experience. The tour’s final stop is scheduled for March 27th at the Palais de la Bourse in Lyon.

Initiated in 2022 in Clichy-sous-bois, this program aims to enhance the employability of both young individuals and those seeking reskilling opportunities in diverse skilled professions, ranging from couture and leather craftsmanship to sales advisory roles. The tour will cover five cities in France from January 31st to March 27th, followed by three cities in Italy from April 5th to May 7th, showcasing 280 highly specialized métiers and LVMH’s dynamic recruitment initiatives.

The tour commenced at the Carreau du Temple in Paris on January 31st, attracting over 3000 visitors. The event was graced by notable figures including Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Group Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Synergies, Aurore Bergé, Junior Minister for Gender Equality and Combating Discrimination, Ouissem Belgacem from the association Le Refuge, and Tony Parker, the tour’s ambassador.

Tony Parker expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I’m thrilled to be working with the Métiers d’Excellence and have a chance to tell young people that, if they are motivated and ready to work hard, they can realize their dreams and pursue a career with LVMH.”

Visitors are encouraged to explore LVMH Group’s diverse Métiers d’Excellence, including well-known and lesser-known professions, and discover various work/study programs, internships, and job opportunities. The event features interactive Louis Vuitton trunk installations, offering insights into leather goods, watchmaking, and jewelry craftsmanship. Additionally, 16 trade workshops provide hands-on experiences and discussions with apprentices and trade experts, covering areas such as embroidery, customer experience, personal shopping, pastry making, and more.

Coaching workshops organized by LVMH Maisons’ human resources teams offer practical vocational and career guidance, assisting participants with resume writing, interview preparation, and career advancement. The event also includes a “You & ME Challenge” where visitors can test their knowledge and win opportunities within LVMH houses related to Professions of Excellence.

Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Group Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Synergies, expressed her excitement, stating, “The You & ME tour targets both young people and reskilling candidates. With 25 participating Maisons, we are engaging directly with our future talents to tell them about these amazing Métiers d’Excellence and guide them in choosing an inspiring career.”

The event aims to provide personalized coaching, online resources for job preparation, and direct access to job openings, facilitated by LVMH human resources specialists. Tony Parker’s continued support as the event’s ambassador adds to its significance and impact.
