Commencement of the Third You & ME Tour Featuring LVMH Métiers d’Excellence Explore the Dates of the Latest Edition

The You & ME tour, LVMH’s traveling vocational orientation and recruitment event, has returned with over 3,500 employment opportunities in ‘Métiers d’Excellence,’ covering creative, craft, and client experience skills.

Initiated in 2022 at Clichy-sous-bois, the program aims to enhance the employability of both young individuals and reskilling candidates across various skilled professions, from couturier and leather artisan to sales advisor. The tour spans five cities in France from January 31 to March 27 and then travels to three Italian cities from April 5 to May 7, showcasing 280 highly-skilled métiers and promoting LVMH’s dynamic recruiting campaign.

The inaugural event took place at the Carreau du Temple in Paris on January 31, attracting over 3000 visitors. Notable attendees included Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Group Executive Vice President Human Resources and Synergies, Aurore Bergé, Junior Minister for Gender Equality and Combating Discrimination, Ouissem Belgacem, representing the association Le Refuge, and Tony Parker, the tour’s ambassador and founder of the Tony Parker Adequat Academy.

Tony Parker expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with Métiers d’Excellence, emphasizing the opportunity for motivated individuals to achieve their dreams and pursue a career with LVMH. Visitors were invited to explore LVMH Group’s Métiers d’Excellence through three interactive Louis Vuitton trunk installations, showcasing leather goods, watchmaking, and jewelry.

Sixteen trade workshops, facilitated by apprentices and trade experts, provided hands-on experience in various métiers, such as embroidery with Dior Couture, customer experience at Givenchy, and personal shopping at Le Bon Marché. Virtual reality headsets offered immersive experiences into the daily activities of skilled métiers, including roles at Christian Dior, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, and Belmond.

Coaching workshops conducted by LVMH Maison’s human resources teams offered practical vocational and career guidance, covering resume writing, application letters, and job interview preparation. The Perspectives area showcased job openings on tablets, enabling direct applications at the event. The ‘You & ME Challenge’ allowed visitors to test their knowledge for a chance to win opportunities within an LVMH house related to the Professions of Excellence.

Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Group Executive Vice President Human Resources and Synergies, emphasized the tour’s focus on both young individuals and reskilling candidates, engaging directly with future talents. With support from Tony Parker, the tour’s ambassador, the event features personalized coaching, an online space for interview preparation, and direct applications for job offers across six business sectors.
