Arvin Goods Sets the Trend for Sustainable Style with the Introduction of the Recover™-Inspired New Sock Collection

Seattle-based sustainable apparel brand, Arvin Goods, is unveiling its latest sock collection, featuring an innovative use of Recover™ recycled cotton fiber. Since its establishment in 2019, Arvin Goods has been a trailblazer in sustainable fashion, distinguishing itself as one of the few brands committed to incorporating recycled materials across its entire product range.

The newly launched collection showcases crew socks composed of 79% recycled materials, with 43% derived from recycled polyester and 36% from Recover recycled cotton fiber. Recover’s proprietary recycled fiber stands out as one of the most environmentally friendly options in the market, substantially diminishing the carbon and water footprint associated with apparel production. Notably, the production of a single pair of Arvin Goods socks using 36% Recover fiber conserves up to 18 gallons of water compared to conventional cotton counterparts.

Boris Mercier, Recover’s SVP Marketing, emphasized the shared commitment to circular fashion with Arvin Goods, stressing the importance of sustainability without compromising quality, comfort, or style. Recover aims to educate consumers on making conscious choices and foster the adoption of sustainable practices in casual wear.

Arvin Goods places responsibility at the forefront of its design, manufacturing, and distribution processes for each pair of socks. Beyond utilizing low-impact recycled materials, the brand prioritizes responsibility throughout the value chain. Thanks to a strategic partnership with Ferre Yarns, located in Alicante, Spain, transportation impacts are minimized.

Dustin Winegardner, Arvin Goods’ Managing Partner, expressed excitement about the official collaboration with Recover and Ferre Yarns, marking a significant step for the brand. Sourcing materials in Spain and manufacturing in Portugal aligns with Arvin Goods’ mission to provide “The Cleanest Basics on the Planet.

Paqui Ferre, Sales and Marketing Director at Ferre, highlighted the longstanding collaboration with Arvin Goods, emphasizing sustainability through the use of FBLUE 100% recycled yarns. This blend, in conjunction with Recover recycled cotton, addresses the global demand for sustainably sourced yarns while offering vibrant colors for Arvin Goods products.

The new collection not only embodies Arvin Goods’ commitment to sustainability but also offers consumers a stylish and comfortable option for everyday wear. Arvin Goods continues to redefine low-impact fashion, encouraging consumers to make conscious choices that contribute positively to the planet.
