Aetrex Elevates Style with Innovative Ballet Shoes Leading the Way in the Fall/Winter 2024 Collection

Aetrex, a renowned global leader in foot scanning technology and data-driven orthotics, is set to unveil its Fall/Winter 2024 line at the Atlanta Shoe Market from February 17-19. The upcoming collection introduces three new slip-on styles, expanding on the success of the 2023 bestseller, the Brianna ballet flat, which is anticipated to achieve a significant sales boost in 2024.

The brand’s latest offerings include a novel lightweight lug-sole construction, introducing timeless and versatile silhouettes such as loafers and Chelsea boots while maintaining a focus on premium comfort. Inspired by the Brianna, new additions to the lineup comprise the Liz, a slip-on smoking slipper with an extended vamp and a deconstructed upper for a sock-like feel; the Joanne, a Mary Jane style featuring a hook and loop strap; and the Zoey weatherproof bootie adorned with a soft, pleated upper.

Amy Egelja, Aetrex’s VP of Footwear Design, highlighted the success of the Brianna, emphasizing its blend of comfort and wearability. The extension of this construction into other fashionable styles reflects Aetrex’s commitment to offering comfortable and on-trend footwear.

The lug-sole construction takes center stage in styles such as the Collette, a versatile loafer; the Margot, a chic lace-up boot crafted from weatherproof Italian suede; and the Hannah, a classic Chelsea boot with a medial side zip for easy on-off.

Aetrex further expands its collection with elevated athleisure styles, featuring retro sneakers like the Emily—a suede sneaker with leather accents and heel support—and the Courtney, a functional lace-up court shoe. The Fall collection embraces ‘quiet luxury’ through leather details, contrasting textures, and muted metallic colorways, with neutrals transitioning from light to dark. Popular styles like the Brianna receive navy and scotch colorway additions, and the Beckie clog welcomes the trendy burgundy hue.

Prioritizing technology for health and comfort, Aetrex designs its shoes based on lasts created from scientific data derived from over 50 million global 3D foot scans conducted on Aetrex’s foot scanners, Albert 2 Pro and Albert 3DFit. This ensures each shoe provides maximum comfort, support, and a superior fit. All styles incorporate an orthotic footbed with proprietary arch support for optimal body alignment.

Scheduled for availability in August 2024, the collection will also feature heeled Mary Janes, casual rouched booties, and oxfords. Attendees of the Atlanta Shoe Market can explore the collection at the Aetrex booth #1537-1543 & 1636-1642.
